The Annual Exhibition will take place in June online on the DCC website homepage.

The closing date for entries is 23:59 on Tuesday 25th May.

The Exhibition is open to all bone-fide members.  If this is your first-time, or you don’t have a grade, you can still enter in the Novice section.

Each member may enter up to ten monochrome (see definition) and ten colour images across the various different categories.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, only digital entries are being accepted this year. We cannot host a print exhibition, unfortunately.

All entries will be seen online by the judges who will complete their allocation of scores by 1st June.

A meeting of the judges will then take place to decide on the awarded and trophy-winning images which will be shown in the exhibition.

Each entrant will be guaranteed to have at least one image shown in the exhibition. If you have not received an award for any of your images, then you will be asked to nominate which of your entries you want to have exhibited.

A €5 entry fee, is required when you REGISTER below.

What’s different this year compared to previous years?

  • Submission of entries is in two parts:

    1. You REGISTER on the club website below and pay the required fee.
    2. You click HERE to enter your images online where you will be asked to enter your name and email address.
  • There is no naming convention for your images. When you upload each image you will be asked to enter a title.
  • Images must be sized to be no larger than 3000 x 2500 pixels, with a file size less than 3MB. This is limited by the software and over-size images will be rejected.
  • The judges will be able to login to the system to see and score the images – independently of each other.
  • We will host a judges meeting online using our Zoom platform where the judges will determine the award winning and trophy winning images. As in previous years, this meeting will be closed to judges and Council Members only.
  • We will have an official launch of the exhibition on Tuesday 15th June where we will show the awarded images and the trophy winning images. We will invite our judges to be our guests at this meeting.
