DUBLIN CAMERA CLUB

The Annual General Meeting of the Dublin Camera Club will be held at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 25th February 2020 in the club premises, 10 Lower Camden St. 

In accordance with the club constitution the agenda for the meeting is as set out below.

  1. Minutes of the previous AGM held on 26th February 2019
  2. Matters Arising
  1. Reading of Honorary Treasurer’s Report as certified by Auditors;
  2. Reading of Honorary Secretary’s Report;
  3. Proposals to amend the constitution of Dublin Camera Club

Such proposals if any will be advised to all members in accordance with the constitutional provision as set out below

  1. Elections;
    • President
    • Vice President
    • Honorary Secretary
    • Honorary Treasurer
    • 7 Other members of Council (the outgoing President is automatically a member of Council.
  2. Such other business as may properly arise.

In accordance with the constitution

  • Nomination for all positions on Council election must be lodged with the Honorary Secretary at least 14 days before the Annual General Meeting, i.e. by 5pm on the 11th February 2018. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. listing the name of the nominee and indicating that the person being nominated has indicated acceptance of the nomination; alternatively nominations may be handed in writing to the Secretary on or before 11th February 2108.
  • Notices of motion with the full wording of any such motion must be lodged with the Honorary Secretary at least 14 days before the Annual General Meeting, i.e. by 11th February 2018. To notify of such motion please email the Secretary, Dublin Camera Club, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. giving the full text of the motion to be proposed.  This may include an amendment to the Constitution; alternatively such motions may be handed in writing to the Secretary on or before 11th February 2108.
  • Notices of Motions and all nominations received shall be posted on the notice board seven days before the Annual General Meeting.
  • Please note that nominations for positions on Council will only be taken from the floor in the event of there being insufficient nominations received in advance. In such situation any person nominated in advance will be deemed elected and whatever election as may be required will be from among those nominated from the floor.
