Studio Workshop

This studio workshop is aimed primarily at beginners, but will also serve to familiarise all members who wish to use the studio with the equipment and its safe use. It will also include a session with an experienced model who has 10+ years’ experience.

Morning Session - 09:00

This will deal mainly with the equipment - background rolls, studio flash units, light modifiers, triggers, flash meter, camera settings, etc.

Afternoon Session - 14:00-ish
The afternoon session will detail three lighting setups - guaranteed to produce competition-level portraits.

After the explanation of how each setup works, each attendee will have ample time to photograph the model and suggest, if required, variations on the pose or facial expression of the model.

Printing & Mounting Workshop

This workshop is primarily for those club members wishing to submit prints for the exhibition in the Lexicon, but have no means of printing and mounting their image.

The club will provide this facility today and the cost will be €5 per print.  Bring your images on a USB key.  

Mounting boards will be available and help will be available to do this.  Cost will be €2.50 per 20"x16" board with the A4 window.

So, each mounted image will cost €7.50
